Biography
A native of Wales, Vic moved to the States in the early 90's. She graduated with a B.S in Business Management from George Mason University and after several years as an office manager in the software industry, she joined the Lab Coordinator team in 2009.When asked by a scientist, "Why do you want to work at Janelia?" Vic replied, "I'm looking for a challenge, something new to learn!" She currently supports the Karpova, Magee, Murphy and Pastalkova Lab's with their busy daily scientific needs. Not a day goes by without learning something new. Vic thoroughly enjoys her fascinating job, her daily interaction with the scientists and the operational departments and is proud to be called a Janelian. Outside of work, Vic enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
