Dr. Manu Prakash, of Stanford University, will deliver the next Dialogues of Discovery lecture at Janelia on Wednesday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. All Dialogues of Discovery lectures are free and open to the public, but tickets are required for admission.
Prakash is an assistant professor of bioengineering at Stanford. His curiosity driven research group works to invent new technologies with clinical applications. Notably, Prakash developed the foldscope, an origami-like, lightweight optical microscope that costs less than a dollar to produce.
