Biography

​With a bachelor's degree in Business Management, I felt as though there was something more I wanted to learn. I attended George Mason University and fed my passion and interest for science by obtaining a B.S. in Neuroscience. As a research lab assistant at George Mason University, I had the opportunity to study how metals affect cognition in Alzheimer's disease. I gained experience performing spatial memory tasks leading to a deeper knowledge of memory at George Mason. My master's degree coursework is in biomedical sciences, and I tutored and taught science before I came to Janelia. I have a passion for learning more about neurology and behavioral studies. Currently I am a research technician in FlyEM.
