Previous Experience
I was a research specialist and then project scientist for the FlyLight Project Team, characterizing split-GAL4 lines in the fly central nervous system. Before that I was a postdoctoral associate in Bruce Baker's group, examining how neurons expressing the fruitless and doublesex transcription factors direct fly sexual behavior.
