Biography
Dr. Wei-Ping Li has many years of experience in morphological studies. She is trained in many aspects of light and electron microscopic techniques. Before joining Janelia, she worked with several world-renowned researchers on cholesterol metabolism at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. She received her MD degree in medicine at Tianjin Medical University, China and PhD degree in Cell Biology at Zurich University, Switzerland. She joined Janelia Research Campus in 2008.
